Fields of Eleria, a MOBA-inspired card game, launches on Kickstarter

November 21, 2018 - Kula, HI - Cobalt Plasma Games has launch its Kickstarter campaign for its fantasy card game “Fields of Eleria.”

The juggernaut of redsteel, Amalar Prime, barrels down your last bastion of defense, the Emerald Vale. It tears through the plates of shale and stone that protect its core as the blades of your Akai Kenshi seem ineffective against its thick hide. Suddenly the skies crack in a thunderous boom, shaking the trees in the valley below as the dragoon Denna Grellsway comes hurtling down towards her foe, her Brillian Lance trailing a silver streak of hot fire. The lance finds its home, striking down the golem in a single blow, its metallic helm shattered by a goblin-sized hole.

Fields of Eleria is a high fantasy expandable card game set in the world of Elthinia, a realm of ancient dragons, archmages, and redsteel engineers. It that draws inspiration from Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas, or MOBAs, like League of Legends and DOTA2 and traditional card games like Magic: the Gathering and the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. Mixing the ideas of hero and gear management with a fully customizable deck building experience, Fields of Eleria brings the two genres together like never before.

The crowdfunding campaign has just begun and will run until December 21, 2017. If the funding goal of $9,000 is met then production of the game will begin immediately, with a target delivery of April, 2018.
